- What were you hoping to gain from the INTB3090- International Retailing experience, both on a personal and on an academic level?
- With the elimination of the on-the-ground component of the course, what learnings/knowledge are you able to take with you for future international experiences?
- What other learnings, both positive and less-positive, will you bring from this experience?
Additionally, I have learned my passion for international travel and different cultures around the world. I realized during our Monday classes that I am inspired by the history and cultures of other countries. I love to absorb and understand the lives of others across the world. The only not so positive thing I may take away from this experience is that, although, I will be able to travel for the rest of my life, I will never be abel to get back this trip that combined my passions for fashion, business, and travel with a group of students who are passionate about the same thing. I won’t be able to experience that once in a lifetime opportunity.
- Finally, what steps would you personally recommend an international traveler take to manage/ reduce risk.
This is a team presentation we completed using our business and fashion knowledge along with our new knowledge of Italy. This was our final project analyzing how to take a domestic company international.
